Oh, you thought TweetDeck releasing those new stats on Android usage wasn’t a sign of bigger things to come? Of course not.
TweetDeck has graduated from beta app to full-fledged app now available in the Android Market. After garnering more than 35,000 downloads as a beta, those stats we saw yesterday will likely see a whole lot more interesting patterns now that the app is officially available.
First appearing in August, TweetDeck has gone through a rapid maturation process. Many of the bugs and missing features users complained about have been addressed based on my short tests with the app. It may not be the perfect solution to pull you away from Touiteur, Twidroyd, or the official Twitter app, but it might since the app can support Facebook, Google Buzz, and Foursquare in addition to Twitter.
Search the market for TweetDeck right now and you can judge the progress.
