OpenFeint, the social gaming platform that we recently profiled, announced today that half of the games using the platform have reached the Top 15 in the Android Market. Two of those apps, Fruit Ninja and Mini Squadron, have taken the top two spots on the paid apps charts. (Read our review of Fruit Ninja and Mini Squadron to see why).
Today OpenFeint announced that it’s going to continue releasing more great apps beginning this week. There will be new games and sequels to familiar titles, including: Super K.O. Boxing 2, Flick Kick Rugby, Touch Racing Nitro, Cestos 2, SkyForce, Penalty World Challenge 2010, Touch Racing Nitro, Party Time, SpeedX, Babo Crash Deluxe, Kamikaze Race, Brain Twister Lite, Dot Dot, and Color Cocktail Lite.
There will be an estimated 50 games using OpenFeint by the end of the year based on previous estimates that reps from the company told me. The latest wave of games will bring the total beyond 20.
