myTouch HD gets early benchmark scores, four color options

October 22, 2010 | by Andrew Kameka

In certain sectors of the Android world, benchmark scores are digital porn. They’re not always reliable ways of seeing the big picture on device performance, but they are typically a general indicator of which phones will be strongest.

The T-Mobile myTouch HD has just gotten a couple of benchmark scores courtesy of a tipster who reached out to AndroidSpin. The Quadrant scores are at about 1,800, putting it above the Nexus One, Droid X, and Galaxy S. Not gospel, but a god indicator that this baby will move. The “Glacier” identifier also makes us excited about the next myTouch.

And while we’re on the subject, the myTouch has been spotted with an array of new color options for the phone. TmoNews got leaked photos of the myTouch HD in Plum (Purple), Red, Black, and White accents. Visit their site to take a look.

Whichever color you select, you’ll get a fast phone.
