The Logitech Revue set-top box has finally shipped to people who placed early pre-orders and is en route to users. While I await my unit to arrive at my house and obsessively check shipping numbers, the Logitech Harmony Remote App is now available in the Android Market.
Logitech first released its remote app last month but it was only available to early testers of the Revue who had invitations. Now, everyone is free to play with the app, provided that they have a compatible product from Logitech. The app is available for free in the Android Market.
I’m glad to see an app that can control GTV because I have too many remotes as is. Can’t wait to fire up the set-top box and provide a hands-on review of the app. I’m expecting deliver of the Revue on Friday or Saturday, so be sure to check back this weekend for more information.
