Europe’s answer to the Evo, the 4.3-inch HTC Desire HD rocking the new and improved Sense UI, has now received its first over-the-air firmware update. The upgrade will provide users with “screen control and photo message compatibility enhancements”, and has version number 1.32.405.3.
It’s apparently a quite large update, so a Wi-Fi connection is recommended. Head to Settings > About phone > System software updates on your Desire HD to download it.
In this XDA thread Desire HD owners discuss the new update, and according to the reports you can expect higher FPS in benchmarks, solved proximity sensor and MMS issues, and a fix to a bug that occasionally would prevent calls from being answered. Has anyone rocking the Desire HD noticed any other changes?
