The Samsung Fascinate is mostly a great phone; of course, you should already know that if you read our Samsung Fascinate review. And you should also know that I’m not a fan of the launcher because it doesn’t alphabetize the app drawer on the launcher.

As always, XDA is on the case.

There are many differences between the Galaxy S phones and one of them happens to be that the T-Mobile Vibrant puts apps in alphabetical order as nature intended. One member has managed to port the TouchWiz Launcher from the Vibrant and make it work on the Fascinate, so users no longer have to play a guessing game about where their apps are located.

Some Fascinate users have opted to switch to ADW Launcher or LauncherPro, but TouchWiz loyalists can stick with what they know and love with a few benefits. Instructions and files that you’ll need are available in this XDA thread. You may want to follow this detailed list of instructions if the original post isn’t self-explanatory.
