HootSuite adds Facebook support to Android app

There’s no fun in being a Twitter client anymore. The trend now is to be a “social” or “lifestream” app that can draw from many sources and integrate the social media experience into one source. HootSuite does that on the desktop, and now the pro-friendly app does it on Android, too.
After switching from a paid application to a free app, HootSuite has added Facebook to its repertoire and graduated from being just another Android Twitter app. Today’s update adds support to read the Facebook Home feed, post status updates, and Like or comment on a friend’s status. That better be enough because there’s pretty much nothing else to do since this is not full Facebook integration.
HootSuite brings some under the hood bug fixes and optimizations as well. That makes it an appealing app for Android users, especially those who need multiple Twitter – and now Facebook – accounts in one app. We’ve previously gushed about HootSuite because of its many features and great speed, and things have only improved since then.

Thanks Andrew – we enjoy your "gushing"
and other feedback. We'll keep on iterating to make this robot even better. My recent post It’s Hootberry Season! BlackBerry Release News Roundup
