Sprint makes “Epic Mini Movies” to promote Media Hub
September 20, 2010 | by Andrew Kameka
Samsung, Sprint
Samsung recently unveiled its Media Hub for Galaxy S devices, and the Sprint Epic 4G is the first device to be able to take full advantage of its television and film content. Sprint has teamed with an advertising agency to promote the launch with a new series of Epic Mini movies.
Sprint.com/Epic4G houses a number of short video clips (one minute or less) that poke fun at film standards and clichés. The Epic Sound Effects film deals with the dramatic sound effects in Asian action films, while the Epic Kiss spoofs the overly-dramatic kiss seen in every romantic comedy since Molly Ringwald hit puberty: long hair falling, glasses off, and, well, you get the point.
There are 10 films listed, though only two have been posted as of this writing. However, a chase scene, horror film, and super hero film are in the queue. There will also be a contest for user to create an Epic video. Details will follow soon.

Why don;t they fix the tow major bugs, that are making epic look like a dog? One bug, the 3G speeds, was front page on slashdot and is dominating every Epic oriented forum. They are going to end up refunding everyone's $10 a month charge if it isn't fixed soon.
