HTC has finally included the T-Mobile G2 on its US website, and the final specifications of the successor to the very first Android device are confirmed on the page. Even though there basically is nothing listed that we didn’t already know, it’s nice to see the details of the hardware officially laid out. Today in London, HTC is going to announce the next big thing the company has “dreamt up”, so the timing for the product page is right and the G2 is expected to be unveiled at the press event.
As previously reported, the G2 will be powered by a 800MHz Qualcomm MSM 7230 processor, and the device will feature 512MB of RAM, a 4GB ROM, Android Froyo, a 3.7-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen and a 5MP camera. The talk time is roughly 400 minutes for WCDMA and 490 minutes for GSM. Head over to HTC’s website for the full details.
