LogMeIn Ignition makes it possible control your Windows or Mac computer directly from your phone. The remote desktop Android app has been in beta for a few weeks, but it’s now available in the Android Market for $29.99 for anyone looking to always have a computer within reach.
Ignition makes it possible to open desktop applications, perform functions, and manage files or media without having to sit down at your computer. So whether you’re on the couch or on line at the check-out counter, you can access your computer live on your screen. As the slogan goes, “If it’s on your computer, it’s in the palm of your hand.”
While several apps released recently have required Android 2.0 or higher, you’ll be happy to know that LogMeIn Ignition requires only Android 1.5 or higher. It is also available in the Android Market in the following countries: Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and the USA.
Download LogMeIn from the Android Market. The price is $29.99 USD and will be converted to your currency.

I unfortunately was not able to experience the beta but it sure would be nice to have a trial period for this. Even just a week would be great. I'm not sure I would be willing to spend $30 right now just to try it. Great looking app but they need to figure out a way for us to try it.
I'm using PhonetoPC and it's great so far. The support team is very quick to respond too. It's only 9.99 while in beta. $30 (LogMeIn)seems like a lot to try out a remote access product.
I grabbed it. Works VERY well. Considering I have well over 100 PC's using logmein's free service… 30$ wasn't much to part with. with that being said though, if you purchase through google … you can uninstall the app before 24hrs is up, and you wont get charged.
