LauncherPro Plus takes Sense UI imitation to next step

LauncherPro is one of Android’s most-popular apps, joining the ranks of the 250,000+ download club. The homescreen replacement app now has a Plus version that could bring that popularity further thanks to  few widgets that will further replicate Sense UI.

To be fair, Launcher Pro is not a cheap Sense rip-off like we’ve seen from other developers. And LauncherPro actually one-ups Sense by including support for scrollable widgets for select third-party apps and changing views. However, let’s not pretend that this isn’t purposely replicating elements of HTC’s user experience. But for those of you who don’t mind this sincerest of flattery and want some Sense-like widgets without getting an HTC phone, LauncherPro Plus is your chance.

As the “Plus” indicates, the app costs $2.99. It’s not available in the Android Market because Google still hasn’t added paid apps support to the developer’s country. You can purchase the app via PayPal instructions on the developer’s blog, the price will go up once he completes the widgets pack, which will be scrollable and come built into Launcher Pro. Here’s a quick list of what you can expect over the next few weeks.
