Barnes & Noble eReader Android app coming soon

Android Apps
Barnes & Noble sees the writing on the wall. Yes, they bet heavy on the Nook, but that’s not the only way to get in front of as many people as possible. Amazon and Borders realize this and have released Android applications as a means to promote their brands/stores.
Someone at Barnes & Noble apparently got the memo that they need to do the same. AndroidAndMe has discovered that a B&N eReader app will arrive on Android. Barnes & Noble sent a general email message about libraries and added the “”Coming Soon” image that accompanies this post.
The Android-powered Nook is becoming more appealing, but plenty of people don’t want to purchase another device. The large screen-size of phones like the Galaxy S and Droid X, plus the proverbially “coming soon” of Android tablets we’ve been promised for months means that companies need to get on the radar of consumers. A B&N eReader app will go a long way in doing that.

FINALLY…I still don't understand why it took them so long to make this app…Nook is android that should have been a simple turn around for a mobile app.
I've been asking when and finally got an answer via twitter from B&N. *soon* What the heck is *soon*?? This should have been an obvious app when Android was first released.
