It looks like the Motorola Droid X has already received its first software update, and no, its not Froyo. Of course, some previous information already told us to expect that update to arrive sometime in late August.
In the meantime, the Droid X has been updated from version 1.13.514 to version 1.13.516.en.US. Unfortunately what the update does remains a mystery. The change log reportedly points users over to the Motorola page, but details seem to be non-existant. That said, its been speculated that it was just some minor corrections that were needed going from demo mode to release mode.
With that, if any of the readers have a Droid X on hand, we would love to hear your thoughts on the update.
