That’s right folks! Androinica is ready for a whole new start. We feel that we’ve gone as far as we can go with the old rendition of Androinica. The site is cracking apart and the layout can’t really evolve from its present form.

We’ve been working hard on new community features, a new home page and, of course, more cool and unique Android content than ever before!

The site is still based on WordPress, an open source community platform just like Android, and it’s the perfect match for a fast-growing blog like Androinica. Better yet, WordPress also significantly increases our ability to evolve (yep, you got that right, there is definitely more excitement to come).

We’re launching the site as a Beta version for now. Expect to see a few bugs in the next few weeks and please don’t hesitate to report any problems you may come across while browsing the site (contact us at hello @

Community features:
We’re introducing many new community features with this version of Androinica. You can now create your own profile and share ideas and content with other Androinica members.

Go ahead and register now!

Here’s a list of the main features:

Activity Streams
Global, personal and group activity streams with threaded commenting, direct posting, marking favorites, and @mentions. All with full RSS feed and email notification support.

Friend Connections
Make connections so you can track the activity of others, or filter on only those users you care about the most.

Private Messaging
Private messaging to talk to each other directly, and in private. Not just limited to one on one discussion, you can send messages to multiple recipients.

Extensible Groups
Powerful groups allow users to break the discussion down into specific topics.

Discussion Forums
Full powered discussion forums built directly into groups allow for more conventional in-depth conversations.
Big thanks to Olivier Bruel, our Web Designer, and Penar Musraj, our WordPress developer, for the work done in the last few months!

Enjoy Androinica’s new home!
