It looks like some new numbers on Android usage have shown up, and things are looking up for some of the more recent versions of the operating system. In fact, Android 2.1 usage has increased from 45.1% up to a nice even 50%.
Which in turn also means that some of the older versions are beginning to see less and less usage. Android 1.5 has dropped from 27.6% down to 24.6% while 1.6 also saw a little drop going from 26.8% down to 25.0%.
Interestingly enough is that Android 1.1, 2.0 and 2.0.1 have remained at the very minor 0.1%, 0.1% and 0.3% respectively.
And while these may not be huge changes overall, we do have to remind you that the last update came just two weeks prior. In short, its nice to see more and more devices finally moving up to the later builds.
