Verizon Droid Incredible shipping date pushed back to May 14th

It looks like those who hesitated with a Droid Incredible purchase are going to have to wait just a little longer than originally expected at this point. I just checked the Verizon website and it is showing a new shipping date of May 14th. Of course, due to the initial success that we have heard about on the launch day, this is not all that surprising, especially considering the shipping date was extended to May 4th within hours of the phone going on sale. Bottom line, if you order a Droid Incredible online from Verizon you are going to have to wait until May 14th for delivery.

Third production run – good going – they are Incredible – I can't put mine down but I really need the Extended battery!
I believe this may just be a precaution in case they are unable to fill orders. I Ordered my Incredible last night and it shipped today!
yea i just checked again, because i’m obsessed with the phone, and it’s been pushed back again to june 1st. wtf verizon, your phones are already lame enough you don’t have to keep forcing people to wait. idiots
I ordered my phones (2 HTC Incredibles) on the 9th, and they promised over the phone that I would have them within a week. Now they say that their stock is gone and they are waiting for another shipment from overseas. My expected delivery is now June 2nd. I might switch to Sprint and get the Evo 4G. Same exact phone, bigger screen and 2 cameras….
