Sweden loves him; how about you?

Android
This will be the shortest post that I’ve written in a while. I have no idea what exactly this is for, I don’t know what aim the Swedes had in making it, but I know that you’ll probably want to watch it and see what’s going on.
Watch the video. Then scroll to the comments to discuss how cool, confusing, or lame you rate the video. I’d rather not say any more in order to not influence your opinions, so I’ll just say thanks to MobileMartin for sending this link over. More information is available at this website.
Any of you Swedes care to provide some context to this and how the heck this relates to broadcast fees?

Haha, I love this video. My brother sent me the same video, but he put pictures of his dog in there instead of the android logo. That's some pretty slick software they made–it really looks like the images are part of the movie.
very Lynchian.
It's a commercial to make people pay the fee for the public service television. You can make your own (even in english) athttp://en.tackfilm.se/
In Sweden we have several TV-channels that are funded by the goverment, kind of like NPR. In order to fund the channels every household with one or more televisions have to pay a fee of approx 50 cents a day, regardless of whether or not they actually want to use the channels. Thus avoiding this fee has become something of a national folk-sport, IE don't open the door if it's someone with a clipboard and you've heard that the inspectors are in town. The commercial is one of their softer approaches,
Not all of Sweden likes this commercial. It's just government propaganda saying "our TV-channels aren't biased, we promise. So pay the fee for owning a TV (we don't care if you watch it or not, or if it's broken), pay up or else…"
My recent post Maggie Simpson as Maggie Roark, a reference to The Fountainhead…
"Any of you Swedes care to provide some context to this and how the heck this relates to broadcast fees?" Well…. I'm sure that the majority of our sane population is asking the exact same question. Don't try to find some context to it because there isn't any. Sweden is, in many ways, the land of the farfetched and the uncomprehensible.
You had me up until the shot of the man with tears in his eyes as he applauds…then it started becoming self-indulgent tripe. Take 'er down a couple of pegs, Google…take 'er down.
