The sky is about to get less friendly now that Skies of Glory is coming to Android. The popular iPhone app has been ported to Android, and it looks beautiful. The company behind the app is showing off Skies of Glory at Google I/O, and they provided some early information about the app, which will be available “soon.”
Skies of Glory is an airplane game that simulates dogfights, close aerial combat, in 3D or first-person fights. It supports up to 8-person multiplayer gaming of random strangers or friends, or it can support single-player mode if you don’t have access to the Internet.
Cost for the game has yet to be determined. The iPhone version of Skies of Glory is funded through micro transactions for purchasing upgrades to planes and artillery, but Android does not support such a feature. It could just be a paid app or it could continue that micropayment option if Android adds that later.
Here is a video of the app

They could always use Scoreloop to add the option of micro-payments and such for upgrades to the planes if they want to follow the same business model.
Was there any indication of when it was likely to be released? A matter of days / weeks / a month??
