Rumor: myTouch 3G Slide to get Android 2.2 shortly after launch

Not much to this story at this point, its still a rumor and we currently have little to go on. That said, it could potentially offer some good news for those planning to pick up a myTouch 3G Slide.
The rumor — that the Slide will be getting an upgrade to Android 2.2 shortly after its release.
The details are coming courtesy of AndroidSpin who are reporting that they have “confirmed by 2 separate sources that that MyTouch 3G Slide will be getting the Android 2.2 update.”
Additionally, T-Mobile employees will begin testing as of next week.
