PrimeTime2Go brings TV shows on-demand to Motorola phones

PrimeTime2Go has debuted on Motorola’s Android phones, offering on-demand access to your favorite episodes. Users who pony up $9.99 a month for membership will then be able to subscribe to all of their favorite shows and download episodes from networks ranging from ABC, CBS, NBC, MTV, ESPN, Discovery, and many more.

The app is now live in the Android Market available only to Motorola phones (Backflip, Cliq, Cliq XT, and Droid). Users can watch their favorite shows by setting-up the app to automatically download episodes after they have aired on television, making them available online or offline. It can support pausing and resuming playback when leaving the program.

Other features taken from PrimeTime2Go’s website include:

Convenient Download Notifications: The PrimeTime2Go icon will automatically light up when your shows have completed downloading and a checkmark will also appear next to the episode you have downloaded.

Maintain your storage: PrimeTime2Go will show you how much storage space and viewing hours you have left on your memory card so you can watch your favorite programs in time and maintain your storage. We recommend a minimum 512 MB MicroSD card for best performance.

Intelligent Download Process: Your shows will continue to download during intermittent network availability, so you can travel in and out of Wi-Fi coverage areas and the downloading will automatically resume where it left off once you re-enter a coverage area.
