After being delayed for several days, the LG Ally promotional website with a tie-in for the Iron Man website is now live. The website reveals some standard Iron Man product placements, but it also confirms some specs, information, and rendered photos of the phone haven’t seen until now.
The LG Ally comes with
- Android version 2.1 (the stock build rather than a custom version)
- Full-QWERTY keyboard and on-screen keyboard with tactile feedback
- 3.2 MP camera (there also appears to be a Flash or photo light next to the camera lens)
- microSD expansion slot (16GB appears in the renders, so we can assume it supports at least that much)
- 3.2 touchscreen
- Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi
Pre-loaded Android apps: Life360, Wikitude, Speed View, Hoccer, Foursquare, Yelp, Wertago, ShopSavvy, Shazam
As we reported earlier today, the LG Ally will be released May 20th, possibly on Verizon Wireless. I fully expect more details to leak in the very near future since the phone is going to be released within the next three weeks.
Thanks to Sam from AndroidGuys for spotting this live during the podcast!

Vanilla wins.
Looks great and has all the required buttons on the top half of the phone (missing the two call buttons on my Milestone).
