HTC Legend passes through FCC with AT&T/Canadian-compatible bands

The HTC Legend on North American soil? Um, yeah, I think quite a few people would welcome that, even if it means that HTC’s Hero Part Deux is likely to come on AT&T.

The FCC just cleared a phone with an ID that’s strikingly similar to the HTC Legend. And if the device does come to the U.S. or Canada, it will probably be for AT&T or one of the big Canadian carriers Bell, Rogers, or TELUS based on the bands listed. There’s no guarantee that its coming to one carrier or another, but someone has to be close to getting the phone for it to be getting the FCC treatment.

AT&T haven’t done much to appeal to current Android users, but the Legend is a good enough phone to get people to change their tune.
