HTC EVO 4G gets rooted before public release after Google gave them out at Google I/O

Google was kind enough to give out an HTC EVO 4G to all of the attendees during last weeks Google I/O conference and it seems as if several of those lucky individuals took the time since to get down and dirty. Yup, they have already rooted the phone, and it comes almost two weeks before the general public will even get their hands on the phone.

As of now the details as to how and what they did were not released. You know just in case HTC or Sprint would decide they wanted to try and patch things up before the official release. And that means other than getting to watch this video, not much is really going to come from this rooting just yet. But on the positive side, its available and should only be better given the EVO 4G is still a few weeks away from public release. In the meantime check out the video below…
