The Google Buzz webapp is now compatible with all versions of Android. While the app was previously compatible only with Android 2.0 devices, and later Android 1.6, users running Android 1.5 can now let peple know where they are, search for what’s nearby, and post status updates. You know, basically what they were already doing on Facebook, Foursquare, Gowalla, Twitter, and 100 other apps.
Months later, Google has extended support to Android devices that were previously unable to access Buzz because they were still stuck on 1.5. Ironically, many of those users were Sprint Hero and Samsung Moment owners who have since already been upgraded to 2.1. Motoblur users (Cliq, Cliq XT) can finally get their Buzz on.
