U.S. Cellular HTC Desire coming in July

U.S. Cellular used Facebook to confirm that it would offer the HTC Desire in 2010, and the company is once again using their Facebook page to provide additional info about the upcoming device. U.S. Cellular confirmed some upcoming specs for their phone: 3.7″ AMOLED touchscreen, 5 MP camera, Wi-Fi, GPS and…

Wait, we already know all of this stuff, U.S. Cellular. The Desire has appeared on other carriers already with those very same specs. Oops, my bad. Considering that the CDMA HTC Hero shared nothing in design with the GSM version, there’s no telling if the Desire that hits the U.S. will be drastically different than the GSM version seen in Europe or if they will be the same.

U.S. Cellular has thrown out the tentative release date of July. Testing on the U.S. Cellular’s CDMA network is currently underway, so interested customers will have to keep their eyes open.
