Want a break from the storm of iPhone 4 news? Well, listen to this: The Dell Mini 5 aka The Dell Streak has gone through the FCC ringer once again, only this time it passed through with bands that will work on T-Mobile. Now, we’ve learned that just because something clears the FCC with bands for a particular company doesn’t mean that device will actually come out on that network, but this is an encouraging sign for anyone who didn’t want to see the Streak on AT&T.
Could T-Mobile be in line to get the Streak, as well? I’m intrigued by this development because I expect to cancel my T-Mobile line soon. I’m not pleased with T-Mo’s Android lineup and I don’t see them making an effort to offer anything rivaling the EVO 4G, but this gives me pause (I’m still getting the EVO, but I may keep both lines of service). T-Mobile should be expanding its HSPA+ network this year and I wouldn’t mind testing it on a Streak. I’m sure there are plenty of other T-Mobile users who are at least curious about this tablet/phone device as well.
