Quick look at Verizon’s leaked Android NFL app

Personally, I am not a football fanatic (just a tech fanatic), but anyone Android user who is will surely love the “official” Verizon NFL application for Android. This made it’s way to the web as a leaked version and all signs are pointing to it being made available tomorrow.

Sprint had the official NFL application and now it appears that Verizon will be getting this robust app. The NFL app will include team and player stats, live streaming video of the 2010 Draft, Thursday and Sunday night games, and audio from every NFL game that is available. If you can’t get enough football coverage by traditional means, this is definitely the application for you.

I have to say that the interface is somewhat intuitive and clean with all the important information at your fingertips. There is heavy use of the menu button as you are navigating around but this is standard Android functionality so most users will be used to it.

The Android NFL app should be available tomorrow in the Market or if you just can’t wait and want it now you can download it here.
