Motorola has waffled on its update schedule several times over the past few months, saying on Facebook and its support forums that an update would be coming, then taking it back. Naturally, there’s not a lot of faith left to be put into the update schedule for many people, but Motorola has updated its schedule to reveal when certain phones can expect to receive an upgrade to Android 2.1.
Motorola Milestone owners in Europe are getting their update now in stages, but that depends on the user’s country. Meanwhile, Backflip owners on AT &T will get an update in Q3 (July-Sept.) and Cliq/Cliq XT owners on T-Mobile can look forward to an update in Q2 (April-June).
Dext and Devour owners? Yeah, you’re going to have to wait just to know how long you’ll have to wait to get Android 2.1. Motorola still has “upgrade [plans] under evaluation” for those phones.
