HTC Incredible shows up in Cellbrite, looking like a launch is imminent

Android Phones, Carriers, HTC, Verizon
The HTC Incredible has been long rumored to be appearing with Verizon soon, and thankfully we now we have one more piece to add that that — a listing for the Incredible has shown up in Cellbrite. For those unfamiliar with the Cellbrite, it is a system that allows Verizon employees to transfer data from one phone to another. But more importantly here, if we could go based on history, a listing in Cellbrite generally means a release is getting close. Of course, combine that with the earlier story about how the Incredible was arriving in the warehouse and it looks like this release will be happening sooner than later.

I'll be getting one for sure. I may be bored with the iPad from which I'm posting this by the release date and need a new toy.
Andrew, you're not bored with it already?
It's not showing up at cellbrite.com under supported phones. *shrug*
There will be no HTC Incredible release by Verizon until the threat of lawsuits from Apple subside. These threats are the reason no N1/Incredible have been released.
Just what I was told from a customer service rep at Verizon, so take it w/a grain of salt.
then how can sprint release the EVO?
Has it been released? Coming summer 2010. I bet it gets delayed just like the N1/Incredible.
ok, then how can the N1 be CURRENTLY sold? its made by htc.
That rep is mistaken. The lawsuit will not be resolved for years to come, so there's no way Verizon could realistic base a decision on launching the phone around something that won't be definitive for a while now.
If the phone is scheduled to come out, it will come out as scheduled so long as Verizon is able to advertise and launch the device.
I stumbled across your blog and think it’s top quality.I’m thinking of starting a graphic design blog. Thanks!
