FCC images reveal mystery HTC slider style handset, could be the AT&T Wildfire

The FCC has revealed a new slider-style phone from HTC, which for the purpose of the listing is going by the model number of PC70110. That said, the listing confirms that the mystery handset has support for AT&T’s 850/1900MHz bands. Unfortunately little else is really known, there are the four buttons (home, back, menu & search) that we have come to expect on an Android device.

As for what else is known — little. But as unwired view points out, this could be the HTC Wildfire. Of course, that is just speculation on their part based on a recent Facebook poll that was put up by HTC. But even that may be reaching a bit as the poll was simply asking for name ideas of a handset that was “playful and full of youth.” Given that, the handset in the images here do seem to have a youthful appearance given the blue, but personally I am not sure that is enough to convince me this is the Wildfire.

If nothing else we can at least look forward to seeing another Android based handset come to AT&T.
