Chad Ochocinco is powered by MOTOBLUR with the launch of OCNN, a new way to promote the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver’s zany antics and Motorola products. The Ochocinco News Network is part of the NFL Pro Bowler’s social media strategy and an obvious marketing tool for social-media-crazy MOTOBLUR.
The OCNN will cover football, OchoCinco’s daily life, and crowdsourced content to reach millions of people. The first person drafted in the OCNN draft was Oklahoma DT Gerald McCoy, but I’m already hearing from analysts that OCNN should have taken Nebraska’s sure-fire star Ndamukong Suh. Mel Kiper has informed me that Motorola’s front office drafted McCoy because Suh’s first name was too difficult to spell and would have likely crashed the MOTOBLUR spellcheck servers.
Here’s video of the draft announcement as well as my three favorite Chad OchoCinco moments.
#3 Chad on Celebration Rules – Ochocinco has been a good wide receiver, but he’s best known by casual NFL fans – good or bad – for his TD celebrations
