CBS Interactive released their official CBS News application for Android today. This app is coming after CBS Sports Pro Football, ZDNet France, and the very useful CNET Scan and Shop.
CBSNews offers the latest news stories, video from all of the CBS News shows, and ways that you can share stories and video with Twitter, Email, SMS, etc. CBSNews is yet another application that offers the user a way to view and share the news. Many different news outlets now offer applications in the Android Market; it is now coming down to what news outlet offers the fastest and best way to view stories as well as the most robust ways to share them.
Now, I would have tried the application before I posted to give my impressions, but for the last hour I have been trying to download it through searching the Market as well as scanning the QR codes on Cyrket and Androlib. For some reason it isn’t even showing up in the Market. It may have something to do with the ROM that I am running on the DROID. So, scan the QR below and see if you have any luck.

Found it in Market. Sprint Hero running v1.5 stock.
Worked for me. Nexus One running 2.1.1 stock. My recent post Again and again
I'm running AdamZ's Smoked Glass (2.0.1) on my Droid, and I was able to find this on the market.
Yeah, all my friends that are using DROIDs can see it in the Market, even one's with modified ROMs. I am using the latest "leaked" Motorola ROM and still cannot access the app. Strange.
I do consider all the ideas you’ve presented on your post. They are really convincing and will definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are too short for starters. May you please lengthen them a bit from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.
