HTC incredible: More images and more specs
March 12, 2010 | by Robert Nelson

The HTC Incredible is not a handset that has remained hidden. We have seen more than our fair share of leaked images, and now once again we have more images. And this time those images have come with some specs.
In terms of the specs,
- Android 2.1 with HTC’s Sense UI
- 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED Screen (800×480)
- Optical Trackpad
- 1Ghz Snapdragon processor that has been underclocked to 768Mhz
- 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and autofocus
- Memory: 512 MB ROM, 512 MB RAM
- 1300mAH battery
- Wi-Fi 802.11b/g
- FM Tuner
- Dimensions: 117.5 mm (L) x 58.5 mm (w) x 11.9 mm (T)
A few items to point out in regards to the specs, there has been some discrepancies in the amount of storage as well as the processor. In regards to the processor, it seems clear that it is a 1GHz Snapdragon, however some believe that it has been underclocked to 768MHz and some believe that it is going to be running at the full 1GHz. The other issue comes in terms of the storage, most are reporting that it will be 512MB ROM and 512MB RAM, however Android and Me has posted a leaked screenshot showing storage at a little more than 6GB and 1GB.
Otherwise, the HTC Incredible is expected to ship with an 8GB microSDHC storage card.
Finally, it still looks to be on track for a CTIA unveiling. For me, this is on Verizon and while I hate to buy a new phone, this release may cause me to sell the Droid Eris and move on up a little. In the meantime, check out the additional images below…

Hi. Initial I would like to say that I truly like your weblog, just identified it last week but I have been following it ever since then.
I seem to agree with most of your respective ideas and opinions and this post is no exception. entirely
Thank you for a good webpage and I hope you hold up the beneficial operate. If you do I will continue to browse it.
Have a great evening.
So it is a better version of the nexus one? I fell screwed over, less then two months and my nexus is already showing signs of being obsolete .
Guess it depends on what you define as obsolete. The Nexus One's CPU isn't underclocked so it runs at 1Ghz where this runs at 768Mhz. The memory is the same on both phones. The only real difference is this has an 8MP camera vs the Nexus One's 5MP, this has a FM Tuner and the Nexus One has the noise canceling microphones. So… just depends on what features you feel are better.
I thought the nexus one had an FM tuner also.
Ok first off it is not known for sure if the incredible will have the 768mhz or the 1Ghz and to asume it’s the low side inept. we have to wait and see on the 29th of this month. I have a friend who works at Verizon and he said it’s the best phone (to date) I am getting the Incredible.
