Rumor: Google Nexus One coming to a Verizon near you, March 23

According to Neowin and “sources close to the matter” (ie. un-named Google employee) the Google Nexus One will be dropping on Verizon Wireless on March 23, possibly during CTIA. This is by no means confirmed by Verizon or Google.
This rumored release date for Verizon does fall in line with the Nexus One’s order page that says Spring 201o. There is no rumored pricing yet but I would imagine it to be on par with the current, subsidized price of $179.99.
Something else interesting to note is that the HTC Incredible is rumored to be launched during the same time on Verizon. The HTC Incredible is another “high-end” Android 2.1 device, with a 1GHz Snapdragon that runs Sense UI and is basically a modified Nexus One. It may be possible that Google and HTC will be competing with themselves again on the same carrier with almost the same device. It looks like even after the idea that all U.S. Android devices will be running 2.1 soon, consumers might be just as confused with the different yet similar choices for devices. It’s madness.

I think Nexus One on Verizon will be HTC incredible, but not the original Nexus One. Thats how it makes sense.

I didn't say Incredible didn't exist or they are same. I just think, verizon will only sell one of them, and I believe that will be Incredible, not the Nexus One. Yet, Google will still sell Nexus One with CMDA.
If the nexus one on verizon = htc incredible would that mean that nexus one on AT&T = htc desire?

all of you guys are fools… honestly I agree with helebek verizon will probably launch the incredible instead of the nexus one it would not make sense to release both ( the phones are to closely related ) NO ONE said they are the same phones….
You have to remember that on the Nexus One website it says that the NEXUS ONE will be coming to Verizon, not another device. I think that Verizon would be making a great mistake if they released the Incredible ans said that it was like the Nexus One. I think we will see both phones.
Any idea's on price decrease with nexus one? Will two carriers cause lower prices? Thanks.
