Motorola announces the BackFlip for Italy

Motorola let loose with a press release announcing that the BackFlip is coming to Italy. Of course, despite the fact that they made it official with a press release, they did leave out many of the important details such as pricing and a release date. A hint of a release came as a general statement which read;

“will soon be available in Italy.”

Otherwise, the BackFlip that is heading to Italy seems to be the same as what we have seen so far, at least in terms of specs. Just to offer a quick recap, the Motorola BackFlip will have OS 1.5, MOTOBLUR and social network integration with the likes of Twitter and Facebook. And in addition, those interested in the BackFlip can also expect a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, full HTML browser, microSD card slot, 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and flash and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
