Mobile World Congress seems to be treating Android handsets very nicely, and HTC has taken the opportunity to unveil the Legend. Of course, for anyone reading Androinica, you most likely remember all of the recent appearances that the Legend made. Thankfully this time its official. And with that, it seems that the rumors and early appearances were all pretty much spot on.
The Legend is going to feature a 3.2-inch AMOLED display (with HVGA resolution), a 600MHz processor, 512MB ROM, 384MB RAM, optical trackpad that is surrounded by a clickable button and will have an aluminum exterior casing. Other features include Android OS 2.1 with Sense UI, a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 1300 mAh battery.
Additionally, the Legend will have the home screen pinch and zoom that we have seen recently as well as a new FriendStream widget that will display status updates, images and links from all of your social networking buddies.
As of now the Legend has been announced for Europe with Vodafone and is expected to debut in the second quarter of 2010.
