Google to host Android Developer Lab at Mobile World Congress 2010

Mobile World Congress is one of the biggest events for the mobile phone industry, so it’s only right that Android will have a prominent presence when MWC begins next month in Barcelona. Aside from the new phones slated to appear, count on several developer resources available from the Google Android team.

Google will host an Android Developer Lab at Mobile World Congress on February 17th. The labs will provide a chance for developers to “test drive” their apps on new devices, something that is becomingly increasingly important in light of Android fragmentation. The lab will “provide access to the resources you need to create innovative and compelling apps for the Android platform.”

The dev resources will also include hourly technical sessions based on app development, as well as a dev lounge where visitors can meet Android team members and network with other developers. Both of these events require a MWC conference pass.

If you plan on being in Barcelona for MWC, be sure to sign-up for the events and take advantage of the Android development tools on-hand.
