At this point it is not a secret that many phones can be purchased cheaper on Amazon, mainly because they do not require the messy things like mail-in-rebates. We have also known that the Motorola DROID is one of those phones, having previously seen it for $149.99. But in a little bit of good news for anyone still considering a DROID — that price has (recently) been lowered down to just $109.99. Of course, that does require all the usual goodies such as a two-year agreement with Verizon, but its clearly better than spending the $199.99 that you would directly with the carrier.
