T-Mobile myTouch 3G Fender edition: Now available for purchase, new commercial being aired
January 21, 2010 | by Robert Nelson

The Fender edition myTouch 3G is now available for purchase, and has a new commercial to show it off.
Beginning with the commercial, it has been dubbed “Clapton” which personally seems to be a slightly better name as compared to Fender edition. But that aside, it highlights the guitar app as well as the added goody that will make at least several of the current myTouch 3G owners angry — the 3.5mm headphone jack.
And serving as a friendly reminder, the Fender edition myTouch is now available with T-Mobile. As expected it is selling for $179.99 with a two-year agreement. Additionally, those looking to grab it contract free can expect to pay $449.
Specs and features of the Fender edition myTouch 3G include a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a 16GB microSD card and some Eric Clapton music. Finally, the Fender edition also ships with OS 1.6 and has 288MB of RAM.
