There is generally something exciting about seeing that “first image” and it looks like we have just that for the Samsung Saturn. Unfortunately as like often happens with those first images, we get just the image and are left wondering many of the important details such as specs, pricing and carrier information.
That said, what we can tell you about the Saturn so far is that it is expected to have a 3.2-inch display with a 320 x 480 resolution, support for GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and HSDPA 900/2100 and be running Android 1.5. Additionally, according to the rumors, it looks like it is headed for a Q1 2010 release.
And yes, you read that correctly — Android 1.5. Now at least while we are sitting here disappointed in the version of Android and still hoping that is not accurate, we can enjoy the image. Of course, honestly, even that is not all that exciting.
