Android Phones, Carriers, HTC-G1, Rumors, T-Mobile
I should begin this post by making it extra clear that this is just a rumor, and a rumor that does not seem to have much basis.
And now that we have that out of the way, if we can believe this latest rumor train, then it looks like T-Mobile G1 owners are going to be a very happy bunch. Yup, the rumor is calling for T-Mobile to be preparing to roll out Android 2.0, or 2.0.1 to the G1.
The details are coming courtesy of AndroidSPIN, who have received the tip rumor by way of an “anonymous source” and unfortunately have not even given us a clue as to whether this tipster should be trusted.
Bottom line, we may, or may not be seeing the G1 get Android 2.0.

Okay it’s January 31st. last day fingers crossed
February 1st and nothing happened. I guess we are just out of luck.
seems like our g1 won't get 2.0 anymore! according an article in a german newsportal, a t-mobile spokesman said the systempartition (70MB) is too small for an update to 2.0! link: http://www.heise.de/mobil/meldung/Kommentar-Gebur…
