Motorola Opus One looks set to rule iDen networks

There really are other networks out there besides CDMA and GSM, and it looks like Android is set to take it all over. The image shows what could be Motorola’s first iDen-based device; and while we’re sure this won’t be a device to lure people away from their CDMA or GSM handsets, it may be enough to keep those with PTT there for awhile longer.
There’s not a lot to go on here. The first image shows the standard Android menu screen, with nothing really to take from it other than that Contacts option has a different icon than we’re used to seeing. There’s also no Albums icon, but rather a Media Gallery. A Messaging icon and Email. Oh, and Call Log. So there are some changes in there, but nothing mind blowing. There’s no word on what variation of Android this is running, or whether or not it will showcase Motorola’s MotoBLUR. In the other image, we can see what looks like a hardware camera key, and maybe the PTT button.
It’s called the Opus One apparently, and while it may be just another Android device to some, to be honest, it’s not looking that bad. There’s obviously no trackball, but whatever that click-wheel looking thing is, it might be fun to use. There wasn’t any kind of confirmation about whether or not it was a touchscreen device, either, but from the looks of that screen, we’re hoping it is. As always, as soon as we get some additional information, we’ll pass it along. But as of right now, what do you think? Any Push-To-Talk users out there, ready to make the Android switch?
