Zhu zhu pets are at the top of my daughter’s Christmas list and I got lucky to find some at retail price. I used http://www.amzpricesniper to do it. It works pretty well. 2 pets for under $20 bucks!

I recently just received my new Molorola Droid, and I am enjoy every bit of it. At the same time, I'm still waiting for the update for Android 2.0.1. Rooting sound pretty tempting, since I like to explore new function within the phone, but I'll just wait and see what happen.

Rooting is pretty common these days. Android phones have a multi-stage boot and as long as you don't break the recovery console (and there are a few well-recognised stable recovery images to choose from including Cyanogen's) it's pretty much always a simple job to wipe your settings and revert or replace your ROM no matter what mess you've got into. Make sure you back up you phone's stock recovery image and you'll be able to recover that too in the event that things go badly wrong (or if/when you want to un-root and go back to the stock ROM).

How risky are we talking? I know jailbreaking an iphone is pretty standard now, mostly for multi tasking, but what are the big benefits with rooting a droid? I'm not sure it is worth the risk for someone who wouldn't really know what he is doing anyway.
