I was once a happy Palm user, more specifically a happy Treo 650 user. That is of course after I upgraded from the Treo 600. That said, I guess it was the Treo 650 that really made me NEED a smartphone, as opposed to just like having one.
Those were the days, but alas that phone quickly became outdated and I was left wanting more, so I did what any good geek would. I sold that smartphone and upgraded to something that was bigger and better (at the time). Of course, in hind site and now that I have seen this latest YouTube video I almost wish I had kept that old 650 around.
But anyway, an enterprising user has taken an old Treo 650 and gotten Android running. Of course with the 312MHz processor and 32MB of RAM is it not the smoothest setups, but still encouraging to see it run at all.
Needless to say, there was not anything offered in terms of a how-to, but otherwise it is still an interesting video to watch — all 2 minutes and 5 seconds of it.
