The Android development community in Britain will get a jolt of excitement next month once Droidcon is underway. Scheduled for December 2, 2009 in London, Droidcon is an event designed to connect Android developers in informal settings to “share ideas, demo new apps, talk to experts, and generally have lots of fun.”
I first heard of DroidCon earlier this month when the #Android Twitter stream was filled with people mentioning the first edition of the conference held in Berlin November 3rd and 4th. Much like that event, DroidCon London will be a chance for developers in the UK to network with each other, gain peer feedback on their projects, and learn from in-the-know Android sources. There will be a free Barcamp on day 1, followed by the actual DroidCon on day 2.
The cost of attendance is £95.00 and registration is now open. For registration info, a schedule of events, or general information, visit The Skills Matter DroidCon page.
