If you think our distance measurements are odd consider that we tend to relate above-freezing temperatures in Farenheit and sub-freezing ones in celcius (wow, it's dropped from 40 to -3 overnight etc etc)

Hard to keep track of currencies when they change from shillings to pounds and francs to euros, but it is pence that you wanted. Luckily you don't have to use British measurements.. they use miles (displayed just like a sign in kilometers), but weigh themselves in stones and pounds… ha ha ha. Thanks for the app reviews!

quid is also acceptable as a slang reference to a pound. but pence was what you were looking for. nice reviews!
