Just recently we saw the official pricing of the Motorola CLIQ, which as Andrew told us yesterday would be $199. Of course that price does mean you will also be signing a two-year agreement with T-Mobile. So what is the price for those who would prefer to purchase the CLIQ outright and contract-free?
Well, as always it is not cheap — in this case you can expect to pay $449.99.
1. How much is the Cliq for current customers who do not meet the upgrade eligibility requirements?
The CLIQ will be available for $199.99 with a two year service agreement. Additional pricing levels vary based on the customer’s tenure, but these pricing levels are less expensive than purchasing a new phone without a two year contract. In the case of the CLIQ, the no-contract price is $449.99.
Now, moving on from the pricing, we also have gotten a first look at what the outer packaging is going to look like. And as you would have expected to see with MOTOBLUR, the box is full of social network icons and artwork to include Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Last.fm, Google Talk and more. So, in the meantime, while we are waiting for the official release we can check out a few images of the box, which are below.
