Motorola wants to keep the suspense building for the official debut of its Droid Android phone next week. But we’ve already seen several details leaked about the Droid, including the early leak of the Droid page. Motorola’s website accidentally left the Droid product page open for viewing, and that of course led to some eagle-eyed folks seeing the specifications about what we can expect in the first phone to pack Android 2.0 (Éclair). Total n00b here so forgive me when I ask, what's the inherent problem with the processor speed?
I think Motorola and Verizon combo made a tremendous effort to raise awareness for this phone.. You can't beat the good ole "advertisement extravaganza" starting off with the iDont video ad campaign against the iPhone. But what is the Real advantage Motorola has over the iPhone? Find out more at "Will Motorola Droid kill iPhone?"
The Samsung Moment comming to sprint on Nov1st has a 800mhz processor and it's FAST!. I have played with the hero and it has less specs than this but same processor, and it has a long lag time between rotations or windows. Not good. Make sure before you get a phone you actually hold it in your hand and play with it for a while. I did at the store with the G1 and hated it… now I played with the hero for spring and the moment. SO far the moment wins hands down with me.
Hope they made a mistake with the mhz. If it’s just that I’m gonna pass.
550 MHz? I think they are not moving for competition with other manufacturers. I think they just want to bring out new product but not for market. If they wanted competition, what's 550 MHz doing there? My recent post 3GP Video Converter, TouchUpSoft Products Review
