Carriers
If you’ve had your eye on the HTC Hero but didn’t purchase it from T-Mobile or Orange UK for whatever reason, 3 is hoping you’ll finally pull the trigger and order the Hero from them. The carrier is even throwing in a free subscription to Spotify Premium in order to sweeten the deal.
3 and HTC plan to release the Hero pre-loaded with the Spotify Android app and a voucher for the subscription plan required to use it. Customers willing to pay £99 and sign a 2-year agreement for a plan worth £35 per month will receive a full subscription to Spotify for the length of the contract. In addition to unlimited browsing and 750 minutes of call time, subscribers will get Spotify Premium for two years, a nearly £240 value.
Spotify blogged about the deal, saying:
We’re happy to announce that we’ve struck a deal with 3 UK to bring Spotify Mobile to its customers from November….3 is a great partner for us as it has a long history of bringing popular internet services, such as Skype and Facebook, to its mobile customers.

Shame it took them so long to get an android offering, would have stayed with them that’s a great offer.
Please dont go for this anyone! The HTC hero is quite frankly crap! My friend and I both agree, ive had mine for a year and half and hes had his for six months. You will be dissapointed! By all means get a HTC but get one with at least 1ghz of processing power!
