Facebook launches touch-friendly website for smartphones
October 23, 2009 | by Andrew Kameka

Facebook has launched a new mobile website to improve appearance and navigation for touchscreen devices, including Android. If you’re someone displeased by the old m.facebook.com website and still not a fan of Facebook apps – official or otherwise – you may want to check out this new touch-friendly version. In fact, my G1 automatically redirects to the touch.facebook.com when I try to access the old mobile site.
Users who visit touch.facebook.com from their Android phone will find a Facebook browsing experience much better than the old mobile site. The design looks better and the images, links, and text are larger in order to function better with press-and-go browsing. There are tabs for Home (friend feed), Profile, Friends (Friends, Phonebook, Pages), and Inbox.
Until Facebook gets serious about making a full, better Android app, this may be something viable to some users.

I have a samsung f480 and im not sure if its compatible with my phone cause it freezes and wont go any further then the loading status part. Is it supposed to work on my phone?
it doesnt do anything on my zune hd.
no matter what i touch, it doesnt do anything.
u
ill just use the facebook app for zune then
Doesn't have ability to see adding friends activity on home page
Super templates. I seriously love them a lot. Thanks.
touch.facebook.com doesn't work well in Nokia N900
It works great on the motorola droid!
I don't like it… well, it doesn't have a remove [delete] link =/ I have a htc diamond and still prefer the moblie version… so, until they get the remove button, i'll stick with the mobile version
I dont like the Touch site… Status are not updated properly… hit refresh and I see status from days earlier at the top of the page… How do I stop my Droid phone from Automatically going to the touch site… I like the Mobile site MUCH Better!!!!
Works well on my iPod touch.
